![]() Felt very authentic to me, yet still over-the-top enough to make a nice story as well.Īs for game itself, you have a certain amount of days to find somebody to hook up with. The personalities were exaggerated, but still seemed like people I know or have known at some point in my life. I found I wouldn't be stuck in those lulls for too long before something else interesting would happen in the storyline. The overall progression felt slightly grindy, but the overall story and different breaks from the normal grind were good to see. You'll probably get your money's worth out of it if you intend to do everything you can in the VN. Very big game for those that like longer titles. I also would like to see this more incorporated into Steam, taking advantage of a few features offered - achievements, cards, backgrounds, or other things like that. It is not one I personally feel compelled to go back and work through, but it was still good enough to like it. Something I'd like to have enjoyed more, but it has still been good enough to recommend. I think on the one narrative arc I tried I counted maybe ten or eleven of them. There are a few grammatical errors here and there. While there was overwording and some parts dragged on a bit, others were balanced and nice. There has been a great bit of detail put into the game itself. It has some funny parts, and sad and serious moments, especially realistic and true-feeling for young and impressionable characters going through this period of time in their lives, and there are some strong personalities written into differing characters as well. Couldn't focus, and so I let it slip by for those couple of months overall, chipping away here and there. I wasn't really sure if I was even going to get any choices for a little while at first - and it was honestly a tough one for me to stick to while a bunch of other issues were going on around me with terrible real life tragedies one after another in a couple of months after I got this to review. How did you personally arrive here again? Oh right, right! Through the acceptable 18+ violence! Or a stork! Any other answers?Īnyway, back on track to my review: It seemed quite long going through the introduction phase. For instance 18+ games that are in any way possibly sexually themed get targeted. You see, people will try to nit-pick on anything they can, especially if they don't understand it, feel threatened by it in some way, or if they just plain don't like something for other ego-based reasonings. ![]() I would just simply ignore it if I didn't like it.Īnyway, again, just to make things very clear to various "naysayers", and the "every-lewd-anime-is-child-porn" advocates a-plenty out there (I have a very dirty mind, and I wonder who even thinks as dark as they can? Theirs must be ten times worse than mine, but I am free to let mine wander, where they supress), it explicitly states each character is above 18 during the opening, just in case one forgets. People and their shallow appearance-based responses to things. and since nobody ever dates before that time in their lives, it's important to note here, since they apparently do not "look" old enough, or something - to the general critical public of this game (and other ones like it). ![]() Please do join and follow if you like my reviews! It's much appreciated!įureraba ~Friend to Lover~ is a visual novel focused more or less around school, and finding someone from his. On a more serious note, finding gems here at Abyssal Ascent as well! Brought to you by Superfabs Candy Tray, through my curation, here. ![]()
